An email alias is a separate address you hand out instead of your real one. Messages sent to that alias are forwarded to the email address on your MyShield account, so the sender never has to know your real inbox.

How it works

With MyShield, a default alias is generated for you on @myshield.world. When mail arrives, MyShield forwards it to your account email.

On Pro and Business, forwarded messages can also include reply-via-alias support, so your reply can go back out through the alias instead of exposing your real address.

Why it matters

Spam control. If one alias gets noisy, you can pause or delete that single address without touching the rest of your setup.

Breach isolation. If one company leaks an alias, only that alias is exposed.

Identity separation. Use different aliases for different services so you know who shared or leaked an address.

Plans

  • Free: 3 aliases
  • Pro: 20 aliases, labels, pause/resume, reply from alias, custom domains
  • Business: 50 aliases, everything in Pro

Getting started

  1. Create a free account at myshield.world
  2. Generate your first alias
  3. Use it instead of your real address on new signups

Your real inbox stays out of the public path from the first message onward.
